We are looking for a Branch Assistant Manager to join our small team in a permanent role, with the opportunity to grow along with the business.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

The Role:

  • As a Branch Assistant Manager, you will be responsible actively supporting the Branch Manager in maximising profitable sales, developing strategies for increasing existing business and new business.
  • Reactively handling incoming phone calls and trade counter enquiries.
  • Assist in maximising both store and telephone sales.
  • Processing orders and quotes using the company systems.
  • Sourcing products and placing the relevant orders.
  • Building, developing and managing relationships with customers.
  • Ensuring all records, systems and paperwork are kept up-to-date.
  • Know your customers and your competition.
  • Dealing with customer queries and resolving any queries.
  • Ensuring that our customers receive customer service that exceeds their expectations at all times.
  • Receiving, offloading and organising stock items that are delivered on a daily basis.
  • Delivering goods when required.

The Person:

  • Confident working with key performance indicators with an impressive track record in sales.
  • Ability to work with a team and individually.
  • The experience to be able to communicate at all levels, whether it be with your team or negotiating with your customer.
  • Self-motivated, competitive with a passion for sales.
  • Dynamic, good sense of humour with a passion for the electrical wholesale industry.


  • Previous electrical industry and retail or customer service experience.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Must be “friendly,” “personable” and “customer-focused.
  • Full clean driving licence.
